HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Prior to the start of each season, usually in June, we hold informal casting readings where we welcome anybody to come along and read for parts in the forthcoming season.
If you can’t make the readings, you can join the Drama Club at any time throughout the year. There are many opportunities that come up throughout the year, either to work backstage or front of house or even to step in to a part if someone steps out as inevitably happens from time to time.
We sometimes hold general open play readings. These are not auditions but allow us to get to know different plays, some with a view to producing and some just for fun. It is an opportunity for new people to meet some of our members and also to get used to reading plays and trying out different roles.
We have recently appointed Jonathan Mallinson to Social Secretary who will be putting together a programme of social activities for members old and new so watch this space!
